Hello, fellow Huggies fans! Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jeana Tahnk and I'm thrilled to be writing for Huggies. Welcome to the wonderful world of babies! I have three of my own. Well, only one actual baby, who is 6 months old, and two older "babies," a 9-year-old and a6-year-old. Yes, my oldest comes up to my chin and weighs 90 pounds, butin my eyes, he'll always be that little newborn with huge cheeks andmassive amounts of hair. I think all parents can relate to how hard itis to see their kids growing up so fast.
I'm excited to share my experiences as a parent with you, offertips, commiserate about sleep deprivation and revel in the joys ofparenting together. Like you, I am constantly balancing kids, work andhome while trying to be the best mom, wife, daughter, friend andemployee I can be. I remember when I was growing up my mom told me overand over again that being a parent is the hardest job in the world, andshe wasn't kidding. It wasn't until I had kids of my own that I couldreally appreciate the wisdom behind her words.
I strive to live a simple life, as much as that's possible withthree kids(!), and look forward to the nights when family dinners andmovie nights dictate the calendar rather than sports and activities. Ilove being active with my kids, and now that it's spring, we'll enjoybrighter days with after dinner walks and bike rides.
I don't have all the answers, and some days it seems as though I don't have any. After all these years, three kids in, I still question my parentingdecisions on a daily basis. What I do know is that Huggie's Tips & Advice is a place to share experiences and offer anything helpful that I have learned during my tenure as "mom" for the past nine years.
And this thing called parenthood? It is the hardest job in the world, but it's the very best job, too.
